This is a mod designed to separate the mainboard from the cabinet and force cool the mainboard and cpu of the UP mini using an external fan. Given the internal temperature of the chamber, the cooler we can keep the electronics the better.
The mod does not alter the printer in any way and all parts are designed to slide fit onto existing internal parts and the fan attaches with double sided tape.
The fan unit is a 40x40mm 12v version with a dust filter fitted to the inlet.
I have just uploaded a duct to suit an standard 80x80mm computer fan for those who do not have access to the smaller fan.. The 80mm fan however is untested. 120mm fan duct supplied also but I need to draw up another spool holder to keep it away from the duct
