I needed to know what level I was on to change the filament on level 12 to a different colour so I made this clock which counts the layers.

The cross member is 40 mm and the clock hand connects to the lead screw with a 6 mm x 2 mm magnet.

There is a vertical counter i am going to post it separate.

You will require 1 magnet.

1, Half T Nut 4/5 mm.

you will require a 4 or 5 bolt 10mm.
