I have gathered files for 3D printing upper limb bones and resized them proportionally (as best I could) to create a disarticulated left upper limb skeleton. The size is that of a small female. Length of the entire arm is approximately 60 cm measured from the superior aspect of the humerus to the distal end of the middle finger distal phalanx. Length of the hand from the tip of the long finger distal phalanx to the proximal edge of the scaphoid is 14.5 cm (bones laid flat). The width of the base of the thumb and finger metacarpals articulated (laid flat) is 5.5 cm.
The left carpus, metacarpals and phalanges were uniformly rescaled from “Human Hand Bones” by Siderits (see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15342). The left clavicle, scapula, humerus, radius and ulna are from BodyParts 3D/Anatomography (http://lifesciencedb.jp/bp3d/).
For use as a learning tool, in addition to the study of bony features, the bones may be articulated at the acromioclavicular, glenohumeral, ulnohumeral,
