uPVC External Window Vent (150mm)

After 17 years, the plastic uPVC window vents on my south facing house were entirely perished and crumbled to dust when I touched them.

Since this left a slotted hole in the framework above the window, I designed an insert to replace the fly guard.

The old vents appeared to be brown through aging, however, I printed the replacement guards in white.

The vents fit snuggly into the recess and are held by 4 projecting tabs.

To fit the vents, slightly bent the item along the length and push both ends in together. Once in, push the middle and snap in the two centre lugs.
