Designed to print with the layer lines running long-ways on the plug prongs. This configuration greatly reduces the risk that the prongs break off. If the lines run short-ways in the more obvious printing configuration with the back of the plug cover at the base, the prongs tend to be brittle and can be snapped off with minimal finger pressure; this design allows the prongs to be fully bent without breaking off with standard PLA. Minimizing support waste was also a consideration; the only supports that are necessary are the brims/rafts at the base.
With this design, two plug covers print standing on end facing towards each other. A bridge is formed between the prongs, allowing the part to be printed without supports if you have adequate active parts cooling to neatly form the bridge. Adding a brim/raft is probably necessary; I haven't tested printing without it yet, but there's very little surface area on the base of the cover.
When the part completes, trim off the brim and snip
