USAF TACP Crest

My friend Col. Mitch Monroe (Duke) designed the original TACP flash and crest in the early 80s and got it pushed through the uniform board. Look for his interview in the "Not Just War Stories" podcast. I wasn't satisfied with the 3-d files available for the crest so I modeled this one in Autodesk Inventor. It was pretty tedious but I like the way it turned out. The model is pretty big. The print in the picture is about 7.5" in diameter and it is scaled at 60%. Amazon Basics silver silk PLA on a Qidi Q1 Pro, generic PLA settings, .16mm high res, 0.4 nozzle, 20% infill. Edit: Added Crest 2. See side-by side photo.
