USB A Socket to USB C Plug Adapter

The USB A Socket to USB C Plug adapter enables older USB devices to connect to a USB C connector and work.

Note, overall the adapter closely models the original part, though the internal USB C plug connections are only approximately modeled, sufficient to allow the adapter external structure to be included in other designs.

If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include:
- Parts encroaching on others.
- Hole spacings misaligned.

A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls.

I've included the STEP file to assist people to incorporate the model into their designs.

My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum neutral filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
