This model protects the cable at the plug (usb c side). It's designed for the square usb c cable from Samsung (shown in the picture). To ensure a better grip, you can attach the plug and the cable slip-off piece with glue. Plastic glue is recommended for the cable slip-off piece and double-sided tape for the plug itself.
