This connector grip snaps onto the USB extension cable connector made by Plugable. Here is a link:

This cable is commonly used to connect GOTO telescopes such as the Explore Scientific EXOS II or G11 to controlling computers. A common problem with a push connector of this type when used in astrophotography is that someone (like me) trips on the cable outside in the dark while photographing galaxies thus losing control of the GOTO mount and the pictures being downloaded. This causes the time consuming and frustrating need to recalibrate and rehome the telescope.
2-10-2019 update: I have found that there is some variation in length of the USB connection hardware. Therefore I modified my bracket design to have a circular end to allow some flexibility and yet maintain a rigid connection.
