Still slightly in progress: height adjustment knob missing and tightening the lower 2 nuts in the base are a pain.

You might want to adjust the actual holder part to be a little tighter, but for me this was good.
Slider is is made to hold 2 standard OD16 x L25 sliding bushing for 8 mm shaft. Screw size M5.
