Heyho I designed a passthrough for my usb cables from my loading station (below the desk) to a place above it.
I wanted it to look as clean as possible. Especially if no device is loading. So I came up with this solution (s).
1. Solution should be milled with a router. You may also use a jigsaw to create gap but I would not recommend that.
2. Solution comes in many pieces and you have to drill the holes with a 10 mm wood drill. To get accurate holes I designed a marking template and I highly recommend using a drill stand or sth. similar.
The passthrough for only one cable is designed to work with one simple 10 mm hole.
I recommend testing the assembly on a scrap piece of wood before installing this passthrough in a desk, as assembly requires a certain minimum of skill.
In addition to the passthroughs I uploaded a simple holder for your devices and a counterweight for M10 nuts. It can be used to put some weight to the cable so it always falls down into the passthrough it
