This is my version of the DSO138 oscilloscope case that eliminates the 9V power port, and uses the USB for power. By doing this, the oscilloscope becomes ultra portable that can be powered using a USB power bank!

To do this, I bought a MT3608 voltage step up circuit board to step up the 5V power from the USB to 9V, and solder the input and output cables to the correct pins on the DSO138 oscilloscope (see picture for the USB power connection). The 9V socket and the white 2-pin socket have been removed from the DSO138 circuit board to make room for the MT3608. Since the MT3608 board sticks out slightly from the top edge, and slightly higher than the LCD screen of the DSO138 board, the case is therefore, specifically designed to make room for the MT3608. (Note: I found that the new version of the MT3608 isn't as tall as the older version that I have, but a lot longer. I made a small change to my front cover's original design, but I have never tried this. Please download the appropriate
