USS Freedom

The USS Freedom (LCS-1) is a littoral combat ship built for the US Navy. It was designed for attacking small vessels and submarines although it has also been used for many other tasks. It was launched September 2006 after winning the littoral combat ship contract. It carries several weapons including a 57mm gun on the front and a missile battery on the back. After over a decade of service it was decommissioned September 2021 along with the USS Independence. This model contains both of those weapon systems as well as a hanger door on the back and a door on the side that is used for deploying a small raft that can be used for smaller operations using one squad of marines. The scale for this model is 1/1000
