I needed something to hold a standard utility knife in the garage that was quick and easy to get to. This is angled at 10 degrees to make it easier on your hand to get to. I'm still adjusting it. The first utility knife I tried worked perfect but I tried another one and the push button got in the way. So far this has worked with 2 different knives. I'm going to purchase a few more different ones to make sure this is a little more universal.

You are meant to put the utility knife in tip down.
