This is a small little tool to check the tolerances of your 2020 V-wheels.
Many modern 3D printers use V-wheels on 2020 aluminum profiles for the Hotend carriage or other moving parts. If the wheels are not perfectly round or have flat spots (e.g. due to big forces on the wheel over long time), it will lead to inconsistencies in your prints. A worst case scenario will be that your first layer is not able to stick to the print bed. Even if this has other causes in the most cases.
With this test base you are able to check your wheels and detect the damaged ones. I have to say that most of my wheels (mainly from Chinese printers) were OK to be used in 3D printers: +/- 25µm

I have designed 2 base plate. One for a single dial gauge and one to use two dial gauges in parallel. The dial gauges themselves are mounted with a clamp, so you can arrange them as you like.
