V12 Engine

- First of all I wanna thank http://grabcad.com/aykut.dana for his awesome Tutorial .. It guided me almost through the whole project .. It helped me a lot in the overall shape and dimensions .. so kinda reduced the time it took me to design and finish the engine. - This engine has a bank angle of 65 degree and the firing order is 1-7-5-11-3-9-6-12-2-8-4-10 as shown in the image above. - I took the advantage of using configurations to reduce the total number of parts for example mirrored parts such as the cylinder head and the exhaust manifold ... also similar parts varying in dimensions or some features like intake and exhaust valves .. - The engine folder contains 46 files including assemblies and parts and the total number of components in the final assembly is 878 and the number of mates is 2086 you can also check the AssemblyXpert info in the pictures above .. - This was one of the most exciting things I did in my life .. I really enjoyed doing this .. I also learnt a lot and spent days without sleeping :D .. Now I'm sharing this with GrabCAD community .. I uploaded The SolidWorks files in a rar file .. The IGES and STEP files are also available so you can download whatever you want .. Finally thanks for reading this long description and paying attention to my project.
