V2.0 Marimba Mallets

I don't recommend using the original version, the V2.0's are much much much better!!!

This is a set of Marimba mallet Cores.

These are for making your own marimba mallets from scratch.

Stuff you need:

-~5/16" x >34" hardwood dowel (birch or rattan if available, but I used oak and it worked perfectly)

-Sandpaper

-1 x DIY Marimba Mallet Cores print (each print is 2 cores) I used pla, but I would probably recommend using something stronger. Flexible filament might also work if it is stiff enough.

-Yarn (pretty much anything works... The thinner the yarn, the harder it is to wrap! Use softer yarn for softer mallets and harder yarn for harder mallets etc...)

optional things:

-rubber bands or rubber coating can help the sound if applied to the outside of the core
