This is a remix of rickym1970's original 7 LED light bar. This is a 24 volt light bar and needs a 330 Ohm resistor in series with the LEDs to prevent them getting overloaded.
In the first picture the 330 Ohm resistor is concealed within the black heat shrink in the red wire. This is an earlier prototype just for the record. But it illustrates the principle well enough.
Why choose this one? It is reinforced so that it does not flop in the heat making PLA a sensible choice.
The LEDs are standard 5 mm high brightness white LEDs
The improvements are that the original had a tendency to flop due to the heat softening the PLA.
