Vacuum cleaner ceiling fan attachment

How do you dust the tops of your ceiling fan's fins? Every method I try drops dustballs on the surface below.

So I built this vacuum cleaner attachment, angled just for this job.

This was my first design of any complexity, and being a novice, I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.
