I designed this box in 2 part so it can sit flat on the hot plate ( as I was looking to print on a 3D effect plate). I could not take a good photo of the 3D effect but looks amazing.For the hinge I design a simple hole where you just have to cut a piece of filament (1.75mm) to fit inside. After you can just glue the end so it does not slide out or in my case I use a metal clip instead of filament and bend the end so fits tight. When the lid is closed the hinge ends flat with the lid. No support neededHappy printing!!
