This is a battery clamp that allows you to mount the Valve Index controller with a USB-C battery without use of zip-ties, velcro, etc. The one featured in this article is the Taegila 5000mAh Portable Charger (Canada, US). There are two variants of this battery, this will be using the USB-C one. The remix uses the CAD for the Valve Index controller available on GitHub to cut out fitting shapes in the top clamp, while the bottom clamp is approximated with positioning using a 3D scanner, final result verified with a caliper. The assembly requires four M4 hex nuts + four M4x17 screws, but keep in mind that you should only hand-tighten this clamp lightly; over-tightening can lead to damage to the controller and/or battery, so please be careful when using this! I measured approximately 1.2mm -1.75mm gap in the final assembly when fastening all four screws accordingly, please do not exceed this minimum gap!
