Vanderhall Keyfob

I was tired of that large keyfob when the board itself was quite small. The top is 6 layers when printed in .12. This allowed me to use 3 colors and have the VH logo inset into it.

To get it as thin as possible I modified the actual fob board. First I removed the actual 4 buttons. You can simply unsnap the metal brackets for each button. No soldering required on that. Then I cut the positive battery terminal and soldered on a wire that attaches to the battery with electrical tape.

I opted to screw the top on versus a snap-in solutions as that added more thickness to the project.

There is some additional cleanup of the print you could do, but this is good enough for me when it just sits in my pocket all day.
