Various snowflake ornaments which can be laser cut in plastic, wood, or paper, or 3D printed. These designs were used for a large hanging art installation at UNC Chapel Hill (viewable here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwmKnCi8vkk&feature=youtu.be)
Clear acrylic allows for "frosting" of the surface with laser rastering, powder blasting, or sand paper.
