Varjo Aero Front Mounting Frame

This is a frame that fits over the Varjo Aero's front side. It clips onto the edges of the vents at the top and bottom. You can also add some tape or other supplemental restraints if you are frequently shaking your head.

At both the top and bottom are action camera mount fingers. They are sized for standard action camera mating fingers and screws. The thru-hole is sized somewhat close to the same as the incoming screw and may thread the screw without requiring an end fastener like a nut or acorn, depending on precision and material expansion. The top and bottom mounts have slightly different mounting heights, in case you need something more or less flush fit.

Additionally, attached is a cage designed for the Leap Motion Generation 1 optical hand tracker. It is angled down by 40 degrees. This way the bottom edge of the stereo cameras frames are exactly perpendicular with the ground, or very nearly when the HMD is facing forward.
