VAXE BAT

The purpose of the Vaxe bat is to provide an ergonomic option for baseball players that have several benefits. First, it allows players with injured wrists, an extremely common injury in the sport, to return quicker with less risk of reinjuring their wrist. This is because the combination of the axe handle changing the wrist angle and the improved grip of the v shape, allows a different angle that allows more of the vibration to reverberate within the bat rather than into your hand and wrist. Additionally, the bat reduces risk of bat breakage for two reasons. One, is that the grip shape makes it mandatory that the bat be held in one direction, which would be made so that the label would be down. This presents the stronger wood, leading to less breaking of the bats and improved power when swinging as well. Also, the grip allows for more bat whip by the hitter because of wrist action, meaning the hitter is less likely to be jammed and the bat won’t break. Another benefit of the added bat whip is that it vastly improves the performance of the hitter. It allows not only for better acceleration to the ball, but it allows for extension of the hands later in the swing, forcing the hitter to stay away from early extension. Although this doesn’t improve the likelihood of contact, power category stats would be improved by this concept. Last but not least, the grip allows for a better downward path to the ball which helps with two things. Like all the other features, it helps with power, but most importantly, it helps with contact with the ball by keeping the bat in the zone longer and taking a better path to get to the ball.
