This is quick-release platform for the Velbon CX-586 tripod.
The tripod usually comes with only one of these in the package, but I needed a second one form my phone holder.
The original one has a crock base and a retention pin. This design omits the retention pin and you may choose between an .stl file with a spacer for a crock base and one without.
I've printed the one without the spacer as it can be printed with the base facing the build plate (on SLA/DLP printers) without supports.
After printing I've added a SmallRig 1/4' Screw. The screw is held down by itself. The hole fits tightly with the thread of the screw and does not allow it to come off easily. If you are having trouble keeping the screw in place I suggest making the hole smaller (I've attached the FreeCAD model as well).
