I was always amazed about RC hobby, robots, and the spider robots in particular. Surfing on the web, I found many variants, from the super sophisticated-fancy ones, with sensors all over, to the basic ones which looks smart, but aesthetically are not quite nice, with shaky legs and simple geometric shapes.
So, I decided to design one, that looks decently designed, but with a simple core: 3 degrees of freedom per each leg, driven by the cheap but noble TowerPro SG90 servo, and the by the moment. all controlled by an Arduino UNO. I remark by the moment, because during the next period, I will become fancy too, and will add more sensors and connectivity, so I will go for another board. Allso, the way the legs were designed, allows to print more and make a 6 leg robot, or more. Today I only have an Arduino UNO, that limit the I/Os.
This is my first project with 3D printing and Arduino, so there is a lot of learning, and nerdy stuff. I publicly apologize my girlfriend for the noise of t
