Venturi based vacuum generator

I wanted to make a degassing pot and vacuum press but didn't want to buy a vacuum pump. I have a compressor and so I tried to make a venturi style pump. It took 8 tries to get something that would generate enough vacuum to be useable.

On my Mojo the size of the air hole did not come out precise enough and the venturi pipe was not very smooth either. Fortunately they were too small so I used a #60 (.0400) drill bit to fix the air hole size and a 1/8 bit on the venturi tube. On my ANYCUBIC the holes turned out fine but the NPT threads I have on the base for attaching my compressor were too big and no adapter would fit. I'm guessing if you have it professionally printed (or have better equipment than I have) they will both be fine.

When I printed it standing up, no internal supports were needed, only some external ones. YMMV.
