vernier holder

designed for a 6 inch vernier to protect it
it should be easy to place and remove the vernier from the holder
over time verniers become magnetic due to the constant rubbing of the metal parts. as a result of being magnetic, the vernier will pick up micro pieces of metal (swarf) that can be found on work benches
