vertical laptop stand

Vertical laptop stand to keep a laptop from taking up too much desk space when it's closed.

Requires no supports.

Fits desks up to 31mm thick.

I printed the body at a .28 layer height and the nuts and screws at 0.12 layer height so the threads come out cleanly. If the threads don't fit correctly you can just print another nut very quickly (In cura you can change hole tolerances to get a good fit).

Update - 01/02/2021 - added longer screw so thinner desks can be accomodated. The standard screw only fits desks over 20mm.

Update - 21/12/2023 - I have now uploaded the step file so people can modify as they like. I'm still using my design after a couple of years with no problems, but in heindsight I would have made the clamp a bit beefier and designed a bigger thread in as it seems that people have had some issues printing these. (The threads are all M9 x 1.25 in the design)
