VFO knob

Tuning knob with a rubber grip.

I have just started down the path of flexible filament. Im not quite there yet but im getting better prints.

The first part of the print is the knob body, this is a adaption of my mBitx radio tuning knob I made before. This I do in ABS but anything is good.

Next is the outside grip that I have printed in Bilby like rubber filament.
This slides over the knob body.

OK I have been playing around abit with the printing. The slower the better. I find 15 to 20mm/s is good.

I have also tried 3Dfillies PLAfelx, its more shiny than Bilby like rubber filament. The first photo with the knob in my hand is the PLAflex at 20mm/sec.
