Viewfinder Cover

A very simple, small cover for the viewfinder of your camera. The cover prevents light entering your camera through the viewfinder. Covering the viewfinder allows you to take long exposure shots on a tripod, without any light entering through the viewfinder of your camera.

Works best when printed in TPU for easy appliance and removal. It is recommended to use black filament for its excellent light blocking properties. PLA filament is very well possible, but I recommend slightly increasing the width by 0,1mm to make it fit better.

Light entering through the viewfinder of your camera, is known to cause big issues for your photos. Excessive discoloring and weird glares are known to be caused by light entering through the viewfinder. This happens especially when taking long exposure shots, and even more using Neutral Density filters at daytime (as there will be more light around your camera).
