These are two vases I made for my cousin's wedding present.
I recorded them saying each other's name during their vows of their ceremony.
I then used Logic on my Mac to locate and capture the image of the sound wave (you can use any sound wave editor, but logic gave me the best resolution).
I imported the image into Fusion 360, and used the spline tool to trace the outline and create a revolve.
This was the first model I ever designed and 3D printed. At the time, I did not know about supports, so tweaked the angle of a few waves to reduce the overhangs.
I left the model solid because I printed it as a single outer layer with no top layer.
I am currently in the process of recreating the vases with the "I do's" from the ceremony, using supports to form an exact replica of the waves. I plan on combining these with profiles of their faces, and mounting it all on a wall plaque.
