Volcanicus Upgrades

It is a bit of a shame that the new Transformers Power of the Primes Grimlock does not come with a proper sword. So, I produced this model based on the sword used by the Dinobot combiner Volcanicus as featured in "Transformers: Earth Wars". This model features a 5 mm handle that will plug right into any 5 mm weapon or accessory port. And, the handle is long enough to plug through both the top and bottom "thumbs" on the Volcanicus fists.

The model is intended to be printed in halves (precluding the need to use supports) and then glued together afterward. I printed a couple copies myself, both in ABS, and used "Plastruct Bondene" plastic model cement to stick them together. Acetone or cyanoacrylate (super glue, crazy glue) would also have worked just fine. If you print with PLA, cyanoacrylate will probably be the best choice.
