Volvo 98> Dipstick Plug

As many do, my dipstick broke on my 98 V70, and if yours has broken you probably know Volvo improved the design and as such the old style dipstick is totally unavailable, let alone next day or sooner. You have to buy a new tube AND new dipstick, and seeing as how without something in the tube it blows oil all over the engine bay, and it being totally impossible to source a tube same or next day, and I had a road trip planned the next day, I made a plug to keep the car drivable while I source a dipstick update set. This plug will fit any early style volvo dipstick tube (single O-ring!). Features a stylish Iron mark pull ring.

Disclaimer: I printed mine in PLA since that's what I had and it's fast and that's what I needed at the time, but it's really too hot for PLA in the engine bay, and heat plus pressure plus deformed plastic equals problems. As a quick fix, PLA will probably work, mines been going strong for a week now but if you have the time and luxury you should print in someth
