VW LED Light Box

VW Lightbox designed using the Makerlab Lightbox Maker with an electronics box underneath to hold various components + act as a stand. The electronics box is merged into the front part of the lightbox, it's designed to hold the LED controller, 4x AA battery to USB box & a USB C to USB A adapter. All parts should be linked to aliexpress in the BOM. You can skip purchasing the 4x AA battery to USB box entirely if you're just going to power this via USB C cable, I never tested how long AA batteries would last powering it but I can't imagine it would be long. Theres a small hole in the front of the electronics box, this is where the IR receiver of the LED controller goes, it can be a bit of a mission to squeeze the IR receiver into that hole, especially with bigger hand's but it is doable.I found that resting the front of the LED box on its front, getting the IR receiver fairly lined up and then using a small flathead screwdriver to push downwards can get it in, some slight
