Waffle lamp shade

Yet another lampshade :-) Have included the openscad file so its easy to change height, diameter, hole sizes etc. Adjust the wall thickness based on the filament transparency. eg The white filament lets more light through than the silver.


I used boksbox honeycomb openscad file as a starting point and played around with it to generate a few variants.
My waffle shade is a bit simpler to code and understand than the honeycomb one but the entire project introduced me to openscad and its ability to generate STL files based on parameters and variables so you can easily customise sizing etc. I have since used the openscad learnings to generate some reasonably complex objects. Also very good mental gymnastics as you try and debug it.
