Wakeboard fin that fits my old CWB Sol. I wanted fins that were smaller than the stock fins so I made a new fin model in Alibre Design.
The bottom surface of the fin has an arc to match the board. I printed the fins with a raft that breaks off after printing. The alignment pins are a separate parts that are printed laying down so that they are stronger in shear. The pins are press fit into the fin after printing. There is a hole for the mounting screw but the hole needs to be tapped (1/4-20 thread) after printing.
I included the Alibre Design files for anyone that has access to that program.
I also made 3D printed thumbscrews because I was afraid I might loose my stock thumbscrew if one of the 3D printed fins break. I made my fins out of PLA (100% fill) and they are holding up so far.
