Update: Version 2 Hook and Rail System Now Available
Version 2 Release Notes
- Version 2 components are NOT compatible with original rails or hooks
- Rails are now thicker and stronger
- With new screw slot design, rails can be easily shortened or lengthened in slicer while retaining mounting ability
- Clearances improved to allow for easier adjustability
Original Notes:
System includes hooks which may be mounted on the wall by use of a rail system similar to a DIN rail system. The rail is 1 inch tall and several lengths are included from 6 to 10 inches. All size hooks will fit any length rail and can be slid on and off after mounting the rail. Rails are designed with recesses to allow standard dry wall screws to mount flush and allow hooks to slide past.
Update: added a 1/2 inch dowel rod clip and a extended medium hook.
PLA rails and hooks can support several pounds safely (test it first, don't hang anything of significant weight which you can't afford to have f
