Here is another Wall Mount Filament Spool holder I designed. It uses a standard 1/2" aluminum tube that can be found at your local hardware store for about 7-8$ for a 3 foot length of tube. Each mount piece has 4 screw holes so it can be securely mounted and support the weight of the filament. I currently have not tested its full capacity but with about 2.25 kg worth of filament on there it has no issues and seems like it could hold quite a few more (printed at 65% infill). If needed, a 3rd mount could be printed and added somewhere in the middle of the rod to help with the weight. The 1/2" tube fits fairly snug and you may need a little force to get it started but then it should slide pretty easily after that.
