George Mason University Math 401
Math Through 3D Printing
Taylor Fountain
This object is a print for George Mason University's Math Through 3D Printing class, in which I am a student. In this assignment, we were tasked with creating a tile(s) that would tile the real plane and fulfilled the requirements of an assigned wallpaper group. I was assigned the pm wallpaper group, which is characterized by no rotational symmetry, one degree of reflectional symmetry, and no glide symmetry. Attached is a computer rendered image of the resulting tile, a portion of the code, and the .stl and .scad files used to design the tile.
