The more you do, the higher the chance to do something wrong ;o) That's in fact what I did when drilling the holes into the drywall for my 2 outlets wallplug. 5mm is too far off to make the original cover fit. So, let's fix that 3D printer style: Open FreeCAD, redesign the cover, adjust the measurements and print a replacement.

So, here is the result. Please be aware that the current version is only meant for installation of wallplugs. For switches you'd need to add some more cutouts matching the fixture used there.

And also be aware that this file is published with the original measurements.

If you have the same problem, you can use the FreeCAD file and adjust as you like:
1. Measure your personal mistake and calculate the difference to the original
2. go to
Body002 -> Boolean001 -> Body001 -> Boolean -> Body -> BaseShape -> BaseShapeOutlines
and increase the width accordingly
