22/11/18 - Updated the front mount so it has more surface area. No need to reprint if you've already printed them. I just figured I'd make use of the space available to avoid any see-saw motion on the front of the bed.
If you're using an ABL it's recommended you fix the bed with solid mounts. otherwise the springs can throw off the careful measurements taken by the ABL. It's something I've done with all my printers using ABL's.
When you use the M420 command to load the mesh, you also have a switch you can enable for 'fade', which is the number of layers the printer uses to 'fade out' the mesh corrections for the bed e.g. M420 S1 Z10 . This will fade out the mesh corrections within 10 layers. The more level the bed is to start with, the less corrections the printer makes to fade out the mesh and the better the first few layer will look.
