This design reimagines the classic 3D printing icon, the Benchy, as a warship-inspired battleship. The War Benchy is set inside a cylindrical frame and suspended with an intricate network of strings, evoking the image of a vessel floating in drydock or hanging in a display cradle. The concept blends history and creativity: The Benchy — beloved symbol of makers worldwide,  is armored and militarized into a warship aesthetic. The Cylinder — acts as a protective hull section, showcasing the ship as if it were a museum piece or futuristic construct. Suspended Strings — give the illusion of levitation, capturing the feeling of a battleship being elevated, maintained, or displayed in a naval shipyard. This piece pays homage both to naval engineering and to the maker spirit, transforming a playful print test model into a bold battleship tribute.
