I was looking for an excuse to do the monopose bretonnian archers - I have a bunch of those for Warhammer. As my father in law lent us his fdm printer I thought I check whether I can design Warmaster miniatures for it. I wanted to try something that does not need supports, though this is hard to achieve with the pose. In the end I included a smalll rod to hold the bow in one of the two strips. I think it is realtively easy to remove. The anatomy suffered a bit as I tried to solve the overhangs, but I think it is still fine in the scale.

My first test print came out ok, but it was full of small strings that I could not remove that easily. The quality and detail is far away from my resin ones, but I still might do a unit of these just to see how they look with paint on.

You can of course print these in resin, they should not need any additional supports, though the way they are based might make separating them from the build plate a bit tricky.
