WATER JET PUMP

You need to remove by knife the cylinder basement at the bottom to reach the tube for water supply hose (as in the picture).

Water jet is a pump for producing of vacuum by water flow.
Can be used
1)in chemistry lab for vacuum distillation
2)For vacuum deposition of metals
3)Physics lab experiments
4)as a spray gun.

As we have a really low pressure in the water supply of our lab maximum vacuum for this waterjet was about 30mm hg or 0.04 bar.
Your vacuum depends on water temperature and pressure in the water supply.
Designed for 8-10mm hoses.

You can add a hose to exhaust tube to reduce spatter and improve vacuum
