The "Diehl Metering" water meter "Altair" with option "Ti" has a metal plate inside, that rotates once per litre. This rotation can be detected with an inductive sensor. I choose the [Tais LJ18A3-8-Z/BY 5V Ø 18 mm sensor](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07XMNF843/ref=pe_27091401_487024491_TE_item), as it operates at 5 V DC.

To mount a sensor, this water meter has three little pits around the display. The part WaterZ_Ring sensor mount snaps into these pits to ensure a firm fit. I simply used a cable tie to keep the ring closed. A screw and nut will do the same.

Part WaterZ_SHalter has to be pushed into the corresponding slit in WaterZ_Ring. My 3D-prints fit firmly without any additional fixture. In case your 3D-print is slightly loose, use a drop of glue or a small screw to fix firmly.

The Fusion 360 file is enclosed in case you have to adapt the sensor-Ø.
