NEW: I uploaded an assembly PDF - Please read it otherwise your gun may not work. I am happy to help if you have issue but you must use the print profile and have read the instructions. Thank you for your understanding. The design This is a pump style water gun that is gear driven. It will shoot 100-150 ml of Water a distance of 4-5 meters. It features a magazine and you can get multiple shots out before needing to reload. It will give a good soaking and should provide loads of fun. This is a 3d printed water gun that works on pressure. I kept the tolerances to a minimum but there will be some minor leaks but this will not affect function. Also, it is pump gear driven and does not use compressed air or an electric pump so don't expect Nerf like performance. I found that tilting the gun forward before firing helps when using the gun gets about half full of water. Also, the nozzle cap is used when filling the gun and will pop off on the 1st shot. Enjoy! Assembly It is easy to assemble and an assembly gif is provided in the model photos. The tolerances are fairly tight. The handle is fitted by means of a dovetail and may need some light tapping at first. I used a screwdriver handle. This is to ensure it does not slide off. Some printers may give a tight fit others a loose fit. Go slowly. The magazine top is fairly rigid at 1st and may need a screwdriver to wedge it open but thereafter if functions quite well. There is back pressure when firing and you want the top lever to stay in place but it also needs to pivot for refilling the gun. That is why it is a tight fit. I found that that wetting the parts helps then slide smoothly. You can also use a very thin coat of Vaseline where the magazine clips onto the phaser to remove any gap. The design has no gaps but some 3d printers may leave some gaps. Do not use Vaseline on the sliding tubes as it blocks the white back pressure sealing parts.
