It allows you to join garden water pipes / various applications in a universal way without distinction between male and female. The gaskets must be printed in TPU material, the joints in PETG or even in PLA. The accuracy of the printer used and the type of material can affect the water tightness. Lubricating the sliding parts with oil or WD40 (similar) can help the interlocking operations. The joint can be used individually to fit also with the already existing universal brass joints on the market.
