A water weel rain sensor with ESP8266 and Micropython.
1. print all 3D parts
2. glue RainSensor-CapTop and RainSensor-CapTop_2, RainSensor-CapBottom and RainSensor-CapBottom_2
3. cut M3 threads into RainSensor-Cylinder and RainSensor-CapTop
4. drill 2mm hole in the RainSensor-WaterWeel
5. the water weel axle is a peace of filament 27mm, bend it straight; add left and right of the weel two washers 2mm hole.
6. paint the rain sensor housing outside with acryl paint

Assemble two disc magnets 6mm x 2mm into the holes of the RainSensor-WaterWeel.
Note the magnet polarity to the hall sensor!

ESP8266, A3144, AHT10

Electronics:
ESP8266 pin GPIO14 (D5) to hall effect switch A3144 out pin 3
optional
ESP8266 pin GPIO4 (SDA) and pin GPIO5 (SCL) to AHT10 SDA / SCL

A3144 pin 1 to 3.3V, pin 2 to GND
AHT10 pin VIN to 3.3V, GND to GND

Micropython Part:
install esptool
pip install esptool
flash erase (optional):
esptool --port COM24 erase-flash
write binary:
esptool --port com24 write-flash -
